Mechanical Past Performance

Update HVAC Systems

Hy-Vee Arena, Kansas City, MO

Vazquez teamed up with another Prime-HVAC Contractor to replace and update all existing HVAC systems and controls during the complete renovation of the building.

Boiler Replacement

VA Medical Center (VAMC), Poplar Bluff, MO

Vazquez was contracted to replace all three (3) 300 HP boilers, DA tank and associated piping, and transfer pumps in the main boiler plant while keeping the plant operational.

Central Utility Plant

Kansas City Airport, Kansas City, MO

Boiler, Chiller, Pumps, and Cooling Tower piping. Originally planned as a standalone building, it was moved inside the terminal for optimized space, improved energy efficiency, and ease of maintenance.

Electrical Division

Vazquez Commercial Contracting LLC is a premier union electrical contractor providing expert electrical and low-voltage solutions for complex modern facilities. Our IBEW-trained workforce delivers high-quality craftsmanship while adhering to the highest safety standards and National Electrical Code (NEC) compliance. Electrical Past Performance

Upgrade to Fiber Optics and Fire Alarm Systems

Chillicothe, MO

Vazquez Electrical Division was contracted by the State of Missouri to upgrade the fiber optic and fire alarm systems in 14 buildings at the Chillicothe Women’s Correctional Facility, including housing units, administration, kitchens, and more. All work was coordinated with the facilities’ security and maintenance staff to ensure minimal disruption and the safety of all individuals involved

Switchgear Replacement

JC Harmon High School, Kansas City, KS

Vazquez Electrical Division was contracted to replace the aging electrical infrastructure at JC Harmon High School, which included the utility transformer, 3,000A switchgear, transformers, and panelboards. To avoid disruptions to classes, all work was scheduled and completed during holidays and summer breaks, ensuring that staff and students never experienced downtime or interruptions.

Upgrade Lighting Controls

Whittaker Courthouse, Kansas City, MO

Vazquez Electrical Division was contracted to upgrade the lighting controls and install exhaust fans in 15 courtrooms at the Whittaker Federal Courthouse. Vazquez coordinated with courthouse officials and other contractors on site to upgrade the courtroom lighting controls with minimal interruptions to the facility and staff.
