U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Tulsa District

Tulsa, OK – November 11, 2022, the Department of Defense and the USACE awarded VRC an Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ), 5-year, contract to design and build (BD) civil, military, recreational facilities, and repair vital infrastructure across the Southwest Division and the Tulsa, OK District.  Task order projects vary in size and complexity and require a high degree of versatility on the part of Vazquez (VCC) and joint venture partner, Reasbeck Construction (RC) of Warrensburg, MO. The contract scope includes designing-building safety, civil, architectural, environmental, structural, instrumentation, communication, security, electrical, and mechanical systems.  Vazquez and Reasbeck are positioned to self-perform a majority of the requirements, but subcontractors remain vital to the successful completion of these Tulsa District regional projects.

Vazquez and Reasbeck have performed DoD and civil works projects together for years, supplying millions of dollars of Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build construction services to the USAF, USA, and USACE.  Under this specific contract, Vazquez and Reasbeck are united by a partnership that adds continuity, dependability, and peace-of-mind for the Corps of Engineers in North Texas, Oklahoma, and South Kansas.  This joint venture creates price and performance advantages; it also creates a highly responsive team, guaranteeing an effective response to  projects throughout the Southwest Division.

This contract award solidifies our position in the Tulsa District and Southwest Division, a planned expansion for nearly three years.  The award represents the hard work of Vazquez and Reasbeck employees and our combined federal contracting success in the region,” said Joe Vazquez Managing Partner of Vazquez-Reasbeck.  “This award extends the service area and adds to the combined capabilities of the JV; it also reflects the outstanding work of our two companies.  We are absolutely thrilled to provide the Tulsa USACE stakeholders with innovation, high-quality construction, and great people, “ said Bob Reasbeck, Vazquez-Reasbeck Partner.  The two companies are united by a formal business partnership and organizational leadership styles that create a ‘force multiplier’ and generate peace-of-mind for the USACE.  “The USACE is a very important partner for our companies and this contract award strengthens our joint capabilities.  The DoD can count on this team to deliver exceptional design and construction services,” said Joe Vazquez the Managing Partner.
